Your website is a collection of files, text, images, links, etc., and in order to appear "online" it has to be uploaded to...somewhere on the internet. That's where webhosting comes in. A web host manages the technology that hosts websites and other web properties. 

After a long search and some trial and error, we choose to work with a certain server management company who essentially rents us a server, which we then in turn rent small portions of to our clients. We have partnered with the best web host server management company we could find in order to provide the best hosting service we can. They handle the servers, we handle the websites. So, where is the cost? Where is your money going? I'll give you a hint, most of it is not going to the server company!

When it comes to hosting a website, these days the cost has come down quite a bit. However, as I mentioned at the start, your website is a collection of files — it is software. And software needs updating and maintaining. There are always bad people in the world trying to figure out holes and ways to break into websites, not to mention the ever-present drum of competition, which pushes all companies to constantly improve their products. For these reasons, the software that makes up your site changes. 

Most of our clients either don't have the time, desire, knowledge, or the patience to deal with updating their website, whether that means updating theme files, plugins, custom code, or even just the actual content of the website itself (the pictures and words, etc.). That's where we come in. That's the "maintenance" side of things. There are a lot of places you can host a website. Heck you could host it on your own computer! (We DO NOT recommend that), but the key consideration is your time, energy, and perhaps sanity. How much, time and energy do you have to devote to maintaining your website? How much time will it take to keep up with anyway? What if you can do most things but you need a little help here and there? What if you have a super basic site and are not really worried about it much, so you just want something basic to keep the sucker running and online? Well, you're in luck! 

We offer 4 packages, each of which is designed to accommodate different budgets and situations. On one end you have the basic "Just Keep The Sucker Runnin" package, which is more of a pay-as-you-go type of plan where you pay a small monthly fee for the hosting and basic upkeep, but anything beyond that is at our hourly rate. At the other end of the price scale you have our all-inclusive, unlimited support package we call the, "Don't explain. Just handle it." package.
